A few weeks ago I published a deviation called Burning Wishes. Then I wrote a text tutorial which was pretty successful. I've seen a lot of cool results with different tweaks. I also made a video tutorial so that people could see how I did certain things.

Below you have the video tutorial as well as a link to the text tutorial and the links to the stock images used. Thank you all for your feedback and support.

I'm looking for 1 max 2 people that want to collaborate with tutorials on my website. First of all, I need serious people with good Photoshop skills and good level of english.

I'm not looking for a simple author but someone that really wants to be part of the project and a person that likes design and likes to share cool tips and techniques.

I'm looking for good photo manipulators, abstract designs like you see below, and things like that (I would like to see your gallery) See the artworks below to know the skill level I'm looking for:

:thumb281109208:

You'll not be doing this for free of course but I want someone that first of all likes design and wants to be part of the project. My website has currently about 4000 visitors a day and it started to overwhelm me. That's why I'm looking for some serious long term collaborators to make a team.

If you're interested, post a comment

The new web design is up and running. I've been using another design for about a year but with the new design it's easier to find things because now the frontpage is more static and the tutorials are separated into categories so it's easier to find what you want.
If you want to try my tutorials feel free to visit the website. I also have a video series called "Photoshop for Beginners" where I teach the very beginners.

I just received the Advanced Photoshop issue 71 which include my Cosmic Lights brushes set ([link])
I was contacted by many photoshop magazines from Germany and UK to let them include my brushes on their CDs and I decided to purchase one of the issues that included my brushes. Awesome.

I just re-opened the website. I recovered some articles and tutorials. I will publish the missing tutorials in the following weeks.

Today I though I will have a heart attack. This morning I received an email from the company that hosts my website, PSD Box. This is the email they sent me:

Hello,

The account [link] is terminated due to violation of AUP.

Please refund remaining fees for period unused (subject to a minimum charge of 1 month service).

Don't hesitate to contact us if you require any further assistance.

I just purchased "a better" hosting plan with 200GB of space because my website was getting bigger. All in all, the space that I used until this day was about 400MB out of 200GB.

I was in shock and I was wondering why the hell they closed my website. I asked what exactly I did wrong and this was their response.

Dear Andrei Florin Oprinca,

Please check our Acceptable Use Policy on the following link:

So, in other words, this is the end of PSD Box. I was planing to add some awesome tutorials and resources there but it seems like it will not gonna happen. I still have the domain name until january or february 2011 but I will not remake the website. It's too much work that has been lost. I will not do it alone. If somebody wants to help me rebuild it it's welcomed, I will pay all hosting and stuff but I can't write articles and provide resources all by myself, not again, it's too much stress and too much work for a single person.

Damn, I invested so much time on that website

This was my last response to the hosting company

Well, that service is a shit in any case. I've never seen that before on any hosting company. What really hurts me is that I can't get a damn backup of my files. Those files are mine no mater what's you policy, you can't just delete people's files. I can't believe they didn't even make a backup for at least 24 hours. Its unacceptable. I'm gonna write a review on all web web hosting review sites. I'm so fucking pissed.
Have a nice fucking day cause I'm not.

I just opened my brushes website. I want to collect only the best brushes not only for Photoshop but also for Gimp, Paint Shop Pro and Illustrator.

Users are able to submit their own brushes and upload them using a submission form.

The difficult part will no be to get people to know the website and get users to upload their brushes.

If you want to show off your brushes and share them with the world, you are welcome. I would like to have as many contributors as possible.

This is the website -> www.starbrushes.net
Well I want to open a really cool brushes website, not only for Photoshop but actually also for GIMP, Paing Shop Pro, and Illustrator.

I will use Wordpress as platform, that's why I need somebody to help me customize the site template. I already have a couple of templates but since I don't know CSS and PHP, only by trial and error it's hard to work.

I already have the hosting and domain name selected, I just have to purchase them but until I have the actual site ready, I will not buy them.

The website will be something like qbrushes.net with submission form so that everybody will be able to upload his/her brushes.

If somebody is interested in helping me out and be part of the project that would be great. I already have a photoshop tutorials website here: [link]

At the moment, I can't pay anything, maybe 10 or 15$ for somebody that would help me with the PHP codes and styling. The default template will remain 90% the original, I only need to add a few thing, to adapt it. so that's not much work to do. With some basic skills of PHP, it can be done because I already made some editing on another template myself.

So, If somebody wants to help on the coding and customizing part of the job a swell as on managing the site, please contact me.
Every week I choose a deviant with great designs and I feature it on my website: [link]

This week, the featured deviant is Magdalena Smokrovic (aka esstera) a truly skillful artist. Her designs really impressed me from the first time I saw them and her technique of combining photo manipulation and digital painting is amazing. What is also amazing is the amount of details that she puts into her works and the quality of the finished images. The paintings that she makes are the best ones I’ve seen, maybe because I also like the themes that she chooses for them. I hope you like her artworks, it was really hard for me to choose 10 images from her gallery because they are all great. Visit her account for more images.

Esstera
Here are a few of her great designs, combination of digital painting and photo manipulation.

Hello everybody. As probably some of you already know,I have my own webside dedicated to design resources and tutorials: www.psdbox.com It's growing pretty fast actually but I would like to have more content. If you want to promote yourself this could be your chance.

I need people to write tutorials about design, blogs, SEO, photoshop...
or make compilations of resources from internet and publish posts.

There are some benefits involved. For more info check:[link]
